Joining the U.S. Navy in 2003, Noah Fregger was stationed in Yokosuka, Japan aboard the USS Kitty Hawk. Immediately tossed into the propulsion division, he found himself below-decks, working closely with air compressors, evaporators, and turbo generators. Noah had started to write his first book while still in the military, typing it out on a close friend's laptop, but lost the entire story when that sailor's laptop was stolen. Although ideas continued to stir within him, years would pass before he’d pick up that proverbial pen again. It wasn’t until the request of his grandfather that Noah began to assemble a short-story trilogy loosely based on the tale he’d lost years before. That story, however, soon developed into a full fledged novel, Gabriel's Watch. We were pleasently surprised when we discovered that Noah had the natural skills and talent to be one of the top new science fiction writers. We were, literally, blown away by the quality of his first novel, as good as any first novel we've ever read.
