Gerald A. Collins

Brad,

I have received the initial shipment of my book, Douglas House.  I am still marveling at the fact that we have completed it.  I cannot thank you enough for your help.  Your firm guidance, cajoling, and steadfast encouragement helped to create a work that is more reflective of the impact of the period 1965 -1968 on my life.  As a result of the work with you and your company, I believe I now have a piece that allows the reader to explore the depths of my emotions at that time.  And to experience London somewhat as I did.

I must admit at times when dealing with the myriad of re-writes and edits I felt as though I had literally turned back the clock to my old high school English comp classes.  But seeing the finished product has made me realize the endeavor was well worth it.  Together we have turned a mere journal into a novel that is only just beginning to make its impact on my family and friends who also lived the story.

I cannot thank you enough for what you have done in bringing the story of my youth to life once again.  To paraphrase the final paragraph of  Douglas House, "if there had been no you, my story would be incomplete."

With warmest regards,
Jerry
